Street-ready means the cart has the lights and safety gear many NC towns ask for. It doesn't mean the cart is titled or street-legal.

See all inventoryWhat street-ready means
Our street-ready carts have headlights, turn signals, brake lights, hazards and mirrors. Those are the items most local golf cart ordinances list. They're sold as golf carts, with no title or manufacturer's certificate of origin, so they can't be titled or tagged.
Where you can drive one
North Carolina only allows golf carts on public streets where a town or county has adopted an ordinance for them, on roads posted 35 mph or less, with a driver at least 16 years old. Some towns near us, like Washington, Winterville and Havelock, have permit or registration programs. Others, like New Bern, have said carts aren't allowed on city streets.
Check before you drive
Rules change and differ from town to town, and HOAs set their own rules for private roads. Call your town hall or police department before driving on a public street. Our FAQ has more on NC golf cart rules.
Every cart gets an initial inspection and maintenance check before delivery. Financing is available, trade-ins are welcome, and delivery is free within 30 driving miles of Grifton.
